Advanced Coaching Practice

About this module

In this experience, the learner will take on the role of an Accounting and Payroll Manager at Eco-Eath Dynamics, a consulting firm that specializes in helping other organizations find environmental sustainability solutions. In a recent effort to reduce their own carbon emissions and align with their mission, the company has shifted to a remote work environment. By minimizing the need for commuting, removing the need for an office building space, and so on, they aim to decrease their ecological footprint while promoting a more environmentally friendly work culture. Recognizing the opportunity these changes present, Eco-Earth has begun exploring other avenues to better their company. One of these changes is to improve their internal training at the company, including a focus on their management team’s coaching skills.

In this module, the learner will be thrust into the problems that have arisen from the company's switch to remote work. The learner will be presented with several opportunities to coach their team members. They will need to consider how to measure the success of their coaching, adapt their coaching strategies to the individual needs of their employees, deal with team conflicts, and manage mental health concerns appropriately. By the end of this module, the learner will be capable of navigating several different coaching scenarios.
