Science Communication (Knowledge Translation)

About the Simulation

In the Science Communication or Knowledge Translation simulation the learner is tasked with helping their client  through the process of applying for a research grant for a very complex scientific research project.   Learners are presented with a variety of technical research and tasked with dealing with the researcher directly to gather information. Participants learn to understand and translate complex technical research; to be creative in their proposed communication strategy; and the fundamentals of professional communication.
