About the Simulation

The learner begins this simulation as a member of a fictitious  Public Relations Consulting team, and is contracted to work for one of four regional companies including: a food production company,  an airline, a pharmaceutical company, and a chemical waste company. All organizations are experiencing a public relations crisis.  The CEOs of these companies have made an initial response that was poorly received by the public and it is the learner’s job to work with the client company to successfully navigate a number of crisis communication challenges, including, routine communications, delivering negative news, and responding to rapidly changing circumstances.
